Having trained in Spain and Italy, Yago graduated as an architect in 2011 and holds a Master’s degree in Timber Architecture and Engineering.
After graduating, Yago worked at Instra Engineers, developing a new headquarters and data centre for the fashion brand ZARA. Whilst working at Methodic Practice, he embraced more responsibility within architecture and landscaping projects including Five Oaks Lane and Elmbridge Road cemeteries in Chigwell, as well as a variety of domestic extension and refurbishments around South West London. Most notably, Yago worked on the refurbishment of eleven flats in Hampton, Richmond, with listed building constraints.
Since joining Mark Fairhurst Architects in 2017, Yago has worked on the technical design of four flats in Stoke Newington and pre-planning design of several mixed-use and residential schemes across London. Yago has also been instrumental in the implementation of BIM methodology within the practice.
In his free time, Yago can be found rowing or cooking, and he is also a keen traveller.
